One customer, recognizing the unique geography of Kenmare, North Dakota, where the dealership was situated in the ‘gooseneck’ region of Ward County, suggested the name ‘Gooseneck Implement’ during a name contest. The association with the active flyways in North America for Canada, snow, and gray geese made the name not only geographically fitting but also symbolic of the dealership’s connection to the natural beauty surrounding Kenmare.

Fast forward to today, and the dealership stands as a testament to tradition, commitment, and a profound sense of community. Kevin Borud, the current owner, and son of Daryl, proudly continues the legacy, having acquired Gooseneck from his father in 1986.
