Gooseneck Implement Announces Leadership Transition:
Andrew Arnston Appointed CEO

Minot, ND — June 2, 2025 — Gooseneck Implement announces a strategic leadership transition as part of our ongoing commitment to growth, stewardship, and strengthening partnerships with our employees, customers, and communities

After years of dedicated service, CEO Jamie Melgaard and COO Jay Pickrel have concluded their time with Gooseneck Implement. We thank them for their contributions and leadership. Their efforts helped shape a strong foundation for our future, and we are grateful for the impact they’ve had on our people and our purpose.

Stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer is Andrew Arnston, a respected leader from our Rugby location, who has been with the company for over 20 years. Andrew’s deep roots within Gooseneck Implement, along with his unwavering dedication to our people-first culture, make him a natural fit for this role. He brings not only strong operational insight but also a servant leadership style that reflects our Core Values of Genuine Passion and Genuine Gratitude.

"Gooseneck has been around for over 50 years, and it’s our incredible employees and loyal customers who’ve made that possible. They truly are the Power Behind the Paint. As we move forward, we’ll keep pushing to meet our customers’ needs while making Gooseneck the place people want to work. I’m proud to be part of a team that’s passionate about what we do and who we serve," said Arnston.

As part of this leadership transition, Heather Drader has been named General Manager of the Rugby location. Drader previously served as the Assistant General Manager in Rugby, and brings strong operational experience, customer focus, and a clear passion for the success of her team and the farmers and ranchers they serve.

This leadership change reflects Gooseneck Implement’s focus on long-term sustainability, excellence in service, and the value of growing leaders from within. As we look ahead, we remain rooted in our purpose: to passionately partner in the success of our customers and employees across North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana.

A New Era in Dickinson: Our Doors Are Open and We're Just Getting Started It’s been over two months since we opened the doors to our brand-new Gooseneck Implement location in Dickinson—and the response from the community has been nothing short of incredible. From the moment customers walk in, they’ve shared how much they appreciate the upgraded look and feel, along with the added space in our showroom. But it’s not just about appearances. This new building was designed with purpose—to better serve you, our customers, in every part of your equipment journey. One of the biggest game-changers for our team has been the additional storage space and cranes installed throughout the shop. These upgrades have significantly improved our efficiency, meaning faster turnarounds and smoother service experiences for you. Outside, the larger lot allows us to accommodate more equipment and keep everything more organized, making drop-offs and pickups easier than ever. Most of all, we’re excited to offer a better all-around experience—from helping you find the right machine, to servicing it through the years, and being there when it’s time to upgrade. It’s all about supporting you through the full life cycle of your equipment. We also want to take a moment to say thank you. This new store wouldn’t be here without the support of our customers. Your loyalty, trust, and continued business made this investment possible, and we don’t take that for granted. We can’t wait to officially celebrate with you at our upcoming Grand Opening—stay tuned for details and be sure to stop by if you haven’t had a chance yet. The coffee is on, and our team is ready to welcome you!
